With the grace of God,

the Iranian Geographical Association, following the concluding statement of the 6th Congress of Islamic World Geographers (held at the Faculty of Geographical Sciences, Kharazmi University) regarding the establishment of a network of Islamic World Geographers, has facilitated and launched the Islamic World Geographers Network.

The aim of establishing this network is to:

• Exchange scientific achievements among members
• Provide opportunities for educational and research cooperation among geographers of Islamic countries
• Support and conduct joint scientific and cultural research at national and international levels with relevant researchers and experts
• Cooperate with executive, scientific, and research institutions in the evaluation, review, and implementation of plans and programs related to education and research, etc.
